Precision Blanking of Hard, Thin Materials
Our origin is blanking camera aperture blades. Since our founding, we have refined the technology to blank hardened ribbon steel, a hard and thin material, with micron-level precision. Applying this technology, we also handle SUS (SUS301CSP / SUS304CSP) flat springs, full-perimeter shearing of aluminum, and combined hemming, curling and coining of terminals. We design and build our dies in-house and feed mass-production results back into die design.
| Process | Material | Thickness | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thin-sheet blanking | Hardened ribbon steel, phosphor bronze, brass | 0.04–0.05 mm (ribbon steel) | Combines die precision and press precision |
| Aluminum full-perimeter shearing | A5052P | 0.5–0.8 mm | Suppresses burrs and dents; low-scratch degreasing |
| Combined bending of terminals | Brass / copper alloys (tin-plated), SUS430 | 0.4–0.8 mm | Combined hemming, curling and coining |
| SUS flat springs & small electrical parts | SUS301CSP, SUS304CSP | 0.1–0.5 mm | Fine, intricate shapes |
| Drawing & bending | SPCC-SD, SUS304CP | 0.3–0.8 mm | Combination of drawing and bending |
* As a thin-sheet record, we have blanked SUS material at t0.01 mm (prototype level; please consult us about mass production).
Integrated In-House Scope
